deserves to eat

over the week-end i posted another thread about my 14 year old cat having cancer of the mouth. As cat lovers you all know the pain my heart has been going through. I feel as if my Vet has just given up on my cat. I can not really change Vets since i can make payments with her. Anyway, i'm on my way to see her and demand "in a good way" to show me how to feed my cat or put a feeding tube in his neck. Yes, he has cancer and it is not good but he has the right to eat and for the last 2 days he has been trying to eat but the stiches in his mouth are stopping it.

So wish me luck.

Thank you for you kind words. I wasn't even sure if i had posted this or not since i was out the door on the way to the vet. But some good news. biggrin.gif My vet says that the sore in his mouth is healing well. She showed me how to feed him and her entire outlook is better. He worked up this meowing as he usually does in the morning saying he is hungry. So I'm off to feed him now. I gave him his pain meds awhile go so they will be kicked in by now. I hate putting anything in his mouth since i know he does not like it, but i know he trust me and i do believe that he knows that all I'm trying to do is make him well. I have been reading many of the post on this forum about what i can feed him as he is able to eat on his own.

Again thanks for the kind words.rbheart.gif
