Turtle-Dove, Physical Therapist ...At your service

Thread Starter

Turtle has been in complete charge of my exercise plan after this gruesome surgery. She's my coach and motivational "speaker.

I can tell she knows I'm better because she's increased the level of my activity!!

We went from me flat out in the bed waving her feather on a stick toy in the beginning to throwing her toy and having her bring it right back to me in the bed.

Yesterday this fetch-game took an unusual "turn"....something I've never seen her do.

I now throw her toy and she brings it just far away from me that I have to get up and reach for it. BUT she then snatches it up BEFORE I grab it and makes a mad dash down the hall into another room!! The idea is for me to get up off my butt and chase her (I know her plan well)!

When I follow her lead and she sees me approaching, she drops the toy...and waits. If I make any move she takes the toy and she's off again!!!! I think my cat's possessed!!!

She's also developed this hide and seek/tag combo game. I don't know what else to call it?????

As I'm walking through the apartment she charges me from behind. I'm "suppose" to whip around and face her as she takes off in the other direction. (It took me a minute to learn her rules). Then I'm "suppose" to chase her,,,etc

Well this can take up most of the day before we both pass out in a happy pile of purrs and snores!!

Everyday it's something new with her. Not only is she whipping me into shape but she's preventing me from getting depressed about anything! Hell, who needs medication when I have ALL this laughter!!
