Good morning
!

Well, the snow has started to fall.  We've already gotten a few inches over the last couple of days.  So today's question is about weather:

What is your favorite season?

Mine is spring.  Not too hot, not too cold.

Fall, because the temperatures are usually moderate and there's not as much rain as in the spring here.

Hmmmm.

No snow here yet, though surrounding towns have had it..... we just have been lucky (incredibly considering I live in what's classed as the snowbelt area).

You know, I used to LOVE spring...... seeing all the flowers bloom, and trees grow.

I used to LOVE fall.............. the different fall colours are gorgeous.

But as someone who suffers chronic pain issues that are worsened by weather changes, pressure up or down and I feel it....... I've come to almost dread the spring season (the rain gets me) so spring is out..... and Fall can be just as bad, tho I still love the colours.

Summer: its ok, but the humidity gets to me. Our temperatures for the most part, are fine....it's just that darn humidity, the smoginess that is yucky. It's not a "pretty" season, and I am a visual person.

I never expected to hear myself say this, but..............

My favorite season is now Winter. Once it is cold enough, the pressure changes don't seem to have as much affect on me. I don't mind bundling up to go out, I like building snowmen, and the first good snow is stunning.

Now, if you could give me Fall without the weather oriented increase in pain, then that would win hands down.

Spring here!  The last few years Spring has seemed awfuly short.  But I do love that "after the cold" season.  Spring usually comes in March for us; while my family in NY is still getting snow!  So that makes me love it too.  Unfortunately hot temps usually come in May too.  But I love seeing everything turn green and colorful again.  And watching the birds and geese come back!  Being coastal we get a lot of birds.

I have three: seeding, haying and harvest!!!!LOL

If pressed, has to be spring - love the smell of the earth coming back to life, the smell of fresh turned dirt when we seed, the baby birds, especially the kildeer chicks which are cuteness overkill, the scent of the flowering fruit trees and lilacs.

I like spring, as long as it isn't raining too much. This past spring, it rained constantly. I used to love the summer, but I find I can't handle the heat anymore.

Fall is my favorite season just because sometimes(like now) it gets cool, and I like the sights, sounds and smells of Fall. I also like very early Winter, as in through Christmas Day.:)

Considering we really don't have a real spring or fall here and the summers are brutal...I'll say Winter! Winter's here are more like spring/fall else where. I wish I lived somewhere it was colder. I hate the heat!

Spring, the bulbs start appearing and the cats can go outside and run around after having been stuck indoors all winter.  I'm in a new house, so the cats are ever so happy anyway (larger, more rooms) I can't wait to see what they think about the new "hilly" back yard and all the trees!

I love spring and fall but here in Oklahoma we seem to have just two seasons instead of four, lol

Winter lasts about 4 months and Summer lasts about 8 months. Since I hate hot weather, I would have to pick Winter :lol3:
