My company decided to give us designers a chance to create a brand new package line for my company.. selling light-up products. I'd say the package design is about 98% complete (some cards may mismatch a bit)

The bosses liked mine the best and want to go forward with it. I am looking for more feedback before they go to the showroom (my boss asked to get other's opinions too!!)

What do you guys think? What does the package tell you? Would you buy this for your kid.. if so, why?

(ignore the orange headers, those are the old line from the company we bought from)

thanks!

i like it, i would so buy it for my daughter too!  I like the idea of re-usable light up stuff for halloween, glowsticks dont always last long enough!

The human eye is most sensitive to about 550 nm wavelength light... that would be a yellowish green. I think your illuminated figures would be more eye catching if there were a hint of green in them. Something like the halo around the words "Safe-Lite".

good thinking, Going Nova :) actually, since our printer cant print, the green is Pantone 308, which is a very florescent green when printed in production

I agree with Going Nova on the glowy color... I actually really like the over all look though. Its simple, not too over the top but fits nicely with the Halloween theme. Honestly, I looked at the picture before reading your actual post and was like "Oh, cool!".

The whole idea just shows "safety". Great job!

Very  and I like the design's for Halloween. My only suggestion would be add more orange and not so much yellow. The yellow color is a bit overused IMO. But I think they are great :bigthumb:
