Usernames with symbols in them

Not sure if this has been reported yet or not, it may be on the "to do" list.

But when composing a PM to a member with a symbol in the username (Calvin&I), when the list of users pops up, it appears as "Calvin&I" , and if you select it from the list, you're not able to send the PM. It works if you type in the name as it appears on the screen - just not if you select it from the list provided by the auto-pop-up-thingy.

I will bring it to Anne's attention.  I knew there was an issue when creating a new user, but it looks like it affects other areas.

Oh sorry, I'm using the BB editor so it changed the way it was written out.

When the list of members pops up from the auto-thingy when composing a PM, it looked like this:

C a l v i n & a m p ; I

When you selected that, it didn't work, no user by that name.
