Oh Cheryl, I am SOOO sorry that your power is going to be shut off That is just terrible!!!!! I really hope you can get something worked out and fast. I wouldn't leave my cat's behind either. Hopefully a friend will be able to help you, or even loan you the money to pay the bill Load of vibes that this will be true

  That stinks.  Are there any agencies that can help you out maybe?  Since you are working toward getting  back on your feet?  A church even?  It takes time; but it seems to me you should have qualified for some kind of temporary disability.  I'm so sorry this is happening to you after all you've gone through! 

Seriously, Cheryl, we don't want you to have to leave your home for the Holiday's. Please let us help you with this electric bill..... we want to help

I could help out with at least part of it.  You live in a cold part of the country you don't need to be in a home without electricity.

Cheryl, and what would have happened if it was shut off and you couldn't log into TCS? We'd all be freaking out wondering what happened! No, sweetie, the problem is that you should have told us SOONER!
