I'm basically stuck in the 80's lol.

The gummy bear song ARGHHHHHHHH
I have several songs right now that make me want to run away screaming.
Moves like Jagger- Maroon 5
Someone Like You- Adele
Pumped-up Kicks- ... dunno who's responsible for this one BUT IT IS AWFUL.
Pretty much everything by Adele I dislike. I just don't like her voice. I know that puts me in a minority, but I'm okay with that.

I cant stand any Adele songs so depressing she needs to cheer up some
dont like bruno mars either its all over played rubbish.....actually someone else that needs to cheer up as well
I love Kate Bush..such a beautiful voice.
I cant stand Rock and Roll All Nite by Kiss. There is the one radio station I tune into and that song is ALWAYS on. I have grown to hate it.

I've never been a big pop fan and over the last 10 years, it has become dull as dishwater sounding all the same. As you said, the voices are processed and the music computerized. I've been going back to music from the 30s and 40s, as well as bluegrass and blues because they sound so much richer.

I've just read through this entire thread and I had a little giggle to myself. I'm 17 years old and most of the music everyone said they hated is what I usually listen to... but don't worry, there is absolutely no offense taken whatsoever, lol.
Anyway, my least favorite song has to be... uhm... well.... you know, I can't really think of one.
I like all types of music, even if it's just a song or two in that particular genre. For the record, The Beatles are my most favorite band of all time.
And I do love the oldies - 50s, 60s, 70s, etc.
Haha...I'm almost 30 and I could say the same thing! Not really a Beatles fan but I don't hate their music either. I love most music stylewise; but I won't listen to most mainstream stuff. I will listen to anything from show tunes (love them actually!) to rap as long as it's clean. I listen to a lot of Christian music and we have one local country station I love. I'm not a huge fan of the old time country; but I have to say I don't even get that annoyed when we are in Tennessee visiting the in-laws and there is banjo music on in every store or restaurant. ![]()
I don't dislike the music; but I do wish I could get The Wiggles out of my head right now.... Tell that to my DD.
I find every Katy Perry and Lady Gaga song to be super annoying. Also, I love all types of rock music, but I've always hated ACDC. I always get shunned upon when I say this, but I just can't stand hearing their songs because they all sound the same to me. It got worse when I moved to the south... everyone loves them here.
I'm with JazzytheCat---I really don't like most music these days. I particularly hate rap, r&b, and most country. (I do, however, love Patsy Cline)
There are 2 songs I abhor: Margaritaville and The Pina Colada Song. And now I have both of them stuck in my head ![]()
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks of creepy stalkers when she hears "Every Breath You Take". DH likes Kate Bush, but her voice gets on my nerves. I did like "Don't Give Up" with Peter Gabriel.
A few weeks ago, I would have said Aqualung by Jethro Tull. We listen to a classic rock station at work and they play it every day. But I've gotten used to it. So for me, it's Sultans of Swing. I like Dire Straits, just not that song.
I'm with you, LGD, I hate REO Speedwagon, as well as Boston, Foreigener and many of the 80's hair bands.
I love country, and most of the classic, more cerebral rock, like Rush. I adore Toby Keith, Garth Brooks and Montgomery Gentry they always write songs that strike a chord with me. Lee Greenwood too. I've met him (who knew he was SO tiny!!) and he's really cool. I also go for Lady gaga, she's a freak for sure, but I do enjoy her music, especially for running. Britney Spears music is ok, her new song "I wanna go" is great, until it gets played out. I also like Eminem (go figure).
I cannot listen to any of the screamer stuff, any Dub-step, and that song from the 70's, "Baker Street" for some reason that song makes me want to jam an ice pick in my ears.
