"Urgent- NJ Cat and Kitten Emergency"
Posted by Jefferson Pound on Aug-20-03 at 04:08 PM (EST)

We are a small municipal pound in Morris County, NJ and just took in 20 cats and kittens in one day! All our cages are completely full and we will have no choice but to start euthanizing if foster homes cannot be found by this weekend. The kittens have upper respiratory and are in urgent need of antibiotics and constant care. We are very short-staffed and unfortunately cannot transport, but can arrange to meet at the shelter. Please call the shelter at 973-663-3241 or Justine at 973-208-1989 if you can foster even one. All different colors and types- longhairs, polydactyl, orange/white, torties, black and white, calicos, manx, solid grey, the list goes on and on.............

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
Just FYI, Morris County is more like just Northern NJ - Sussex and Warren are NW.

I'm sorry I'm seeing this so late and my heart is sinking. But I've contacted feral-to-friendly felines. Our area out here is a hike from Morristown, but they help find foster homes. It's all they do. I hope they can help.
