Posting problems

Trying again --- I can post, but I can't do a reply.  No msg comes up.  It just goes back to my original post.

Maybe I'll try logging and and starting again.

Did you get to the site from a bookmark? Please try leaving the site and then coming back on not through a bookmark.

Help!

ok  - I can start a thread but if I try to reply it doesn't go thru. 

I have The Cat Site in Favorites and on my desk top.

I also have Forums in Favorites and on my desk top.

What version of browser are you using?
What is your operating system and its version?

There seems to be a problem posting with the BB Editor today. 

 

This is what happened when I hit reply:

When I checked in with this thread, I tried switching from Opera 11.5.2 to Firefox.  The browser wasn't the problem, because the same thing happened. So I went and switched my preference to the Rich Text editor instead of the BB Editor, and the editing panel is up, so I'm hoping it will post when I hit submit.....

Laurie, we are trying to narrow down this problem and that is a huge help. Which operating system do you have on your computer?

Anyone else having this problem, please try changing to the Rich Text Editor and post in this thread:

Windows 7 is the operating system.

 

But this is interesting. I use Opera as the default browser, so when the BB editor solution worked, I quit Firefox and opened Opera. I went to My Profile, then hit edit account preferences.  It didn't do anything.  Right at the moment, in Opera, I'm not able to switch from the BB editor to the Rich Text editor, because I can't get into Edit Preferences. (So I'm using Firefox for now).

Finally was able to check and  I am using Rich Text Editor .  At least this time I got thru.

Glad to see I'm not alone in this problem.

The problems seemed to be with Internet Explorer and Opera. They are supposed to be fixed now. Please try again and report if you have any problems.
