A month or so back I had started a thread to discuss nutrition options for my cat, who wasn't in great shape due to lack of activity and an over-hyped "diet" food that did nothing for her. Everyone was very helpful, and after a lot of research, I have settled on two choices; Nature's Variety Instinct (Chicken Meal Forumula) and Wellness Core Grain Free High Protein   (nutrition info behind links). A little help choosing between these two would be great :)  I tried putting out a pinch of each to see if she'd eat them, but so far no interest (she's kind of like that though, takes her a while to try things).

aww! I'm not really an expert on food, but she is adorable! Looks exactly like my little one! I can barely even tell she's chubby... hehehe

If it were me, I would pick Nature's Variety Instinct.  The reason being is it comes in various flavours and I like to offer my cat a variety of flavours.  I am no expert either, just my preference. But if your cat isn't eating either, then there really is no point.  There are also Go! or Now!by Petcurean - Go! (the chicken turkey and duck) is grain-free and is higher in protein @ 50% (concentrated nutrition is how they are marketing it - meaning you don't have to feed as much) and Now! is lower in protein @ 31% I believe.  Both lines have other flavours that have grains. I think the Now! line has a weight management one (or maybe both?)  My cats love it even though my older cat shouldn't have it.  It seems to be  palatable.  And apparently it's minimally processed...

I just wanted to thank you for this post because I've been trying to decide the same thing!
