hey guys,

I'm new to the site n joined in hope of some advice, my cats pregnant with her first litter and we estimate shes 5-6weeks (season started 5Th Oct) Shes well in herself, happy and playful and scoffing her food (and everyone Else's) but late last night i noticed a bit of discharge that was tinged slightly green, i had a look on-line but all i could find is shes either (A) in beginning of labor, which shes wayyyyy to early for of (B) got an infection cus the baby's have died but with that she should have other symptoms of being unwell, shouldn't she? she has had a touch of diarrhea but that was the day after she decided to steal my daughters spag bol that was cooling on the side and shes always had a weak stomach and often has diarrhea if we change her food so I'm not that sure the diarrhea is linked to the discharge. i am more than happy to take her to be checked out but she absolutely hates traveling and gets very upset so i don't want to put her threw that unnecessarily. any advice greatly appreciated :)

Claire :)

If you are ready to take her to a vet, my advice would be to phone this said vet and ask.

If he says  ride in so do it asap..

Spontaneously I would say, clear discharges are usually not dangerous if itsnt much, somewhat rosy may be ok...

But coloured is hurry, contact a vet asap - as it is often/usually bacteria infections.

How is the smell? How is the temperuature?  The vet will also ask about it.

Good luck!   *vibes*

have been to the vets as an urgent case and shes examined her thoroughly, temps fine, behaviors fine, eating well & discharge had no odor but the vet thinks shes got a max of 2 weeks left, we have been told just to keep an eye on her as shes showing no other symptoms of being poorly but if she gets ill or goes off her food we have to go straight bk as its possible one / all the babys have died :(

thankyou for your help people :) i like this place think i myt stick around a bit lol x
