STOP INTERNET CENSORSHIP—TWO BILLS IN CONGRESS UNDERMINE THE PRINCIPLES OF THE WEB

On November 16th, the "Stop Online Piracy Act" will be heard in Congress. This legislation, in addition to the Senate's "Protect IP Act," completely undermine and fundamentally change the core principles of the Web.

They have the potential to radically alter or shut down sites like YouTube, Flickr, Tumblr, Facebook, 4chan, others, and all new companies that follow.

Analysts are predicting that without sufficient public outcry, this has enough special interest backing from media giants to pass at this time!  Opponents of the bill include tech giants such as Google, Yahoo!, Facebook, Reddit, AOL, LinkedIn, eBay and Wikimedia Foundation, as well as human rights organizations such as Reporters Without Borders, the Electronic Frontier Foundation and Human Rights Watch.[16][17][18]

It is truly unbelievable, but all we can do is try to get as many digital signatures as we can and be loud enough.
