Well, I Still Have a Job

thank God for that, right? I don't get to go back until January 3rd though. Then I'm not going to be serving for a while. I'm going to be hosting. That job is less physically demanding than serving. The hours are shorter as well, only 7 hours compared to 10 hours. It will help me get back into the pace of things. The unfortunate thing is that I won't be making the wonderful tips that I have as a server. I just want to get caught up on my bills.

It kinda sucks as there will be no Thanksgiving or Christmas.

These will be Turtle's FIRST holidays with ME!!! So that makes up for what we won't have....

I feel great so I've tried to relieve Turtle of most of her nursing duties. She's been so dedicated.

We spoon at night. She curls up right against my chest, purring so loudly, against my beating heart. It sounds like a lullabye. These are moments that I used to share with Bella.  

Bella was the only cat who ever allowed me to rest my head on her tummy. Now Turtle allows it.

Although I don't do it often or for very long because Turtle is so much smaller than Bella.

I often wonder if Turtle is channeling Bella?

It's like Bella is whispering in her ear, "Do this, do that, she likes it when you roll over and show off your belly. It makes her laugh and be happy."

Can a person be so lucky or blessed to have 2 soul-mate kitties in their life?

Anyway, don't want to ramble. Just wanted to let you all know I'm good and getting better every day!! xxoo

Awww Cheryl I am so glad things are working out for you and too right that you still have got your job you have worked there a long time and should be a valued member of staff.I have always said that I think Bella sent Turtle to you and I stand by it,you two are soulmates.xx

Oh Cheryl.  I am so happy for both you and Turtle. This really is a match made in heaven for both of you. And yes, it's possible that Bella is helping Turtle along. Remember the Paw (Bella's spirit, that is) works in very strange ways sometimes.

When we got Mollipop, my GF and I were amazed at the similarities between Mollipop and my GFs Bridge Baby, French Toast, a beautiful, loving little girl. Toast just loved everybody and when we would visit, she would love to let me pet her and touch her. Rick and I loved that little girl and we were heartbroken when she had to go to the Bridge. Mollipop is so much like French Toast that sometimes it's uncanny. And there are some things that Molli does that remind me so much of our Banshee that it almost makes my heart stop beating. We've always said that the Paw (meaning the spirits of both her French Toast and our Banshee) was really working to bring Mollipop to us.

And I believe the Paw is helping Turtle and you. I'm so happy for you two.

And congratuations on still having your job. You'll be fine. You have your Turtle!

Cheryl I'm so glad you're doing so much better.  It did make me sad though that you said you won't have a Thanksgiving or Christmas.  Hey you don't need a bunch of people around to make it feel like the holidays, you have your kitty and you are getting back your health, that's all that matters.  Just take care of yourself.  Glad to hear you still have a job, that sure is something to be thankful for.

It's great they're accommodating you at work until you're completely up to par again.

Sounds like you work for nice people.     Just take things slowly and eventually you'll be back on your old schedule.

Turtle sounds just wonderful and I know Bella is part of her.    Mysterious things happen that we just don't always understand!

If you were near us you could join us for the holidays.    But we'll be thinking of you and drink a special toast to you, Turtle and your Rainbow angel Bella.

Wow, could a post make me happier? Gary and I will be enjoying our babies at Thanksgiving and Christmas this year too.

But I'm just THRILLED to hear about work - and even more thrilled about Bella having brought Turtle not just TO you, but helping Turtle AND you. :heart3: :heart3: :heart3:
