Bald tummy/obesity

Hi Everyone

 

For awhile I have noticed since i got Smokie his tummy is basically bald. Could this be some lasting issue of being neutered, or is he just losing his fur maybe from being so overweight it rubbing on the floor or something.? and who can resist this adorable picture lol, almost like he was posing for mommy!

There could be a few different reasons for this. It could be allergy related, stress-related or behavioral. Do you see him grooming the area a lot?

He licks it a-lot, I havent seen him itching it or anything, but if you touch him there he bites and goes ballistic.
