A Delicate Maneuver

I made the new Ootay Memorial Bed specifically to be large enough to accommodate two or more cats.

So far that hasn't happened. Tolly has only been on it once, when it was in his Spot on the Play House. He seemed to like it there, but that Spot is used for many things, and the bed could not remain there.


Jennie doesn't use any of the self warming beds. Mazy and Queen Eva use it daily in it's regular Spot on the living room table , Mazy more often than Queen Eva.

Yesterday morning, when Mazy went to have a nap on the Ootay Memorial Bed, she found the bed already taken. I expected her to move over to where Tolly was saving a place for her on the Down Throw. So I was very surprised at what happened next.....

"Don't worry Queen Eva, I just want to put a little part of myself here...see?"


"Well....maybe I could squeeeeeze onto the edge......"


Still not totally committed...


She's in!


PS. The other small pillow you see there is called The Princess's Pillow. That pillow was made for me by my niece many years ago, and it belonged to Ootay . No one else ever used it until Ootay stopped sleeping on it, then Mazy took it over, and Queen Eva uses it too.

I have a lot of beds around my house for my kitties as well.   They look like they're enjoying them a lot.

Awwww, beautiful, sleepy babies! I have tons of beds around here, but mine like to either pile into one, or push each other out if someone is in the bed THEY want.

I'm not getting many cat piles yet this cold season. Tolly and Mazy do pile in the original bed-bed quite often but that's all, so far.



Tolly, Mazy and Queen Eva love the self-warming beds I make, but Jennie never uses them. Her special favorite mommie-made bed is this one:

Awww! They're sharing!

I don't get any cat piles here at all   Not even Spencer and Katie who are siblings.  They cuddled in the kennel at the vet, but once they got here there was so much room for them that they each found their special spots.  I do see them laying next to each other on the kitchen table, but not snuggled up together.  And Abby snuggles no one but me, lol
