Can I go home now?

What a day! I'm ready for a restart. Starting yesterday, our network was under increasing attack from the Blaster virus. When I came in today, EVERY computer at CCF was shut down. IT had to go through and individually search and clean each computer before they could be turned back on. I've been up for about 15 minutes. And, to top it all off, one of the big administrators came through and had us turn off all extraneous lights, equipment, etc. to prevent another localized blackout I just want to go back to early last week-anyone care to join me?

I'll join you, but before I do, I want to find out who gave me this stomach bug !

Christy - that sounds alot like my day - most of our system is infected with the bug (not our office - yet) and it is causing delays everywhere! Our lights are also low and our a/c is off!

Thank goodness I only have less then 45 minutes to home time (then just an hour and 15 minutes on the bus)

I have done almost no work today, because my laptop (company supplied) is virused with not one but TWO viruses, that are network-wide. I have 11 reports to get in to the office by 2 PM tomorrow. Looks like I will be doing them on my home PC in Word and emailing them to my laptop so I can play cut and paste when it comes back to life.

Yeah, we have been hit pretty hard since Tuesday of last week. This week it is the security patch that is causing all the trouble. I am ready for the nut house.

We've been pretty lucky here, no virus hitting our computers so far, just dumb people .

Sure go home! And tell your boss I said you should still get paid!

Although I shouldn't complain...My neighbor is the webmaster at his work and they've been down since last Wednesday....
