My bf moved in this weekend. Well his stuff did anyway. Isis (his cat) was really upset about the whole situation. Before we even moved she peed on the bed 3 times and on my bf's bag once. This isn't new behaviour and seems to do it when she's angry/stressed. Now she's at my place and is really unhappy.
Loki and Isis lived together for 7 months. It was a rough start but they didn't mind each other in the end. I brought Loki with me one month ago. He remembers her and wants to play. She wants him dead or gone.
I guess this means I have to slowly reintroduce them? I'm not really sure how. She doesn't seem to care about his scent one bit. She sleeps on his bed which I put in the room. She used his litter (hadn't unpacked hers yet). I have a feliway diffuser going in her room. She hisses at me and at him...like continuously. If he gets too close she swats at him. She is separated from him, and I'm not sure where to go with this reintroduction. I can't really screen off the door. Hmm but I'll try opening it a crack.
Just more time? It's only been a few days. Poor Loki checks around each corner to see if Devil Cat is gonna get him. He's so friendly and loves other animals. He'll play with anything that moves. I want him to have a playmate but I don't think Isis is the answer.
