Tigger just got nutered yesterday. We were told not to feed him starting from 8PM the day before yesterday. When I picked him up around 6PM yesterday, his face is noticably swoleen and the vet told me that they had to give him some anti-allergy shot since his face swollen up after the surgery. But they are not completely sure whether this is allergy to the anathesia or pain med. They said it is possible that he hurt himself while trying to get out of the cage after the surgery.

Anyway, Tigger ate like he hasn't eaten for days as soon as we got home around 7PM. But he seems to have trouble going to the "bathroom". And he behaved very strange - smelled around everything in the house, rolled around in the litter box, kept jumping in and out of the litter box without using it. As of now - more than 12 hours after he ate tons of food, there is no stool in the litter box. Is this normal? Is he having trouble with elimination?

Any insight will be much appreciated.
