Some of you suggested a new sub-forum that will be dedicated to cooking and recipes. I think that the new(ish) groups forum may be your answer. A Top Cat or Super Cat member can start the group and be the first Lead, and can even add other Leads. I would make it an open group for all to participate in. You can also link to the group from your signature, for extra exposure.

Hope you like the idea!

Bless you, Anne! I was wondering about using a Group for recipes. It will make them so much easier to find.

You rock!!

Excellent! Since you're a Top Cat, why not go ahead and start the group, then you can announce that in the lounge and invite people to join.

I second this
Great idea! I love ALL of Pam's recipe's. Now if I could just make one

Awww, thanks guys! I'm really looking forward to all of your recipes, too!

And if you can read, you can cook. Or even, if you can't read, but like experimenting, you can still cook.

Great idea Pam --- maybe now I'll even do some more cooking.   I've read your recipes in the past and I know how talented you are.   Remember once you said that years ago you told a teacher that you are going to become a lawyer (I think that's what it was) and you'd have someone cook for you!     I always remember that story.   Let us know when it gets started.

I'm so glad to see a good interest in exchanging recipes. And you see that I was a busy beaver tonight posting all kinds of our family favorites to share with you all. Please share yours, too!

Pam - we did a TCS cookbook a few years ago and I was the editor for that book. We raised funds for shelters a couple years in a row.

The irony - I had a hard drive crash and lost my copy of the cookbook, after spending hours upon hours putting it together. Oh well.

Oh, that's terrible, to lose everything like that. But that happened to me with my first cookbook. I had taken my computer to the shop for something weird with the A-drive....and the guys there called me and said my hard drive crashed. That was back before the days of backing my drives up faithfully and I lost everything on the drive, my cookbook, my web site for the cats, all the pictures, everything. I was heartbroken. Those are things that can be replaced, I guess, but all the time and effort that went into something like that. I never redid the first cookbook; I do have one copy of it, but my son took it when he moved out.
