It's been getting colder and I've been mean since we moved and kicked the kittens out of the bedroom at night LOL so they have alternating sleeping on the cat tree or breaking into my daughters room at night and sleeping with her. So I got them a heated cat bed. Oh my do they love that thing. I saw it on Amazon and just had to get it.

I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

That sounds awesome! Can I ask which one you bought? In the winter my landlord can be a bit stingy with the heat and I'm sure the kitties would LOVE a heated bed!!!
Another possible idea is, to use a human heating pad. You just need to make sure you get ones that do not have an automatic shut off. My cats love the heating pads under there beds. Or on my bed
. If anyone wants to know what brand I am using, just ask me
.
I bought this one it comes in 2 sizes, I got the larger one hoping that both kitties ( they are about 8 lbs) would fit together since they are BFFs LOL. So far they seem to be switching off on who sleeps in it. But it's on a table right next to the cat tree. I like that it's made for cats and the heater is set to stay at cat body temp. I was worried about using a regular heating pad and it being too hot. Also the padding is really nice and thick so the kitties can safely knead with their paws, as you know they love to do, without risk of damage to the pad.

Oh, I believe they love it. Once it gets cold, Jamie goes between his window perches above the radiators in the living room and kitchen to the heated water bed and back again. DH had off today, and the first thing he told me when I got home was that Jamie hadn't left his perch in the LR the entire day.
I sleep on a waterbed too, and the cats were loving it. If only they wouldn't wake me up at the crack of dawn and sometimes in the middle of the night. I'm less cranky now that I'm getting enough sleep and they still get a warm place to sleep at night.

I think my kitties might be getting one for Christmas!
I'm sure they will love it!
