One of my cats (a 2 year old female) has demonstrated some downright bizarre behavior this evening, completely out of nowhere. She went out today, and when we let her back inside, she immediately freaked out and panicked, running frantically all over the house back and forth until she could find a place to hide and then she tries to sleep. Every now and they something sets her off and she goes running like crazy again and finds another place to hide and try to sleep, she seems very disturbed and paranoid in her hiding places. This is totally unlike her normal behavior, although she is a high strung and timid cat, I've never seen anything like this before. I have no idea what could be wrong with her. Last night she was perfectly fine, no odd behavior, nothing out of the ordinary. She seems traumatized and irrational. I don't know what to think!
