How thrilling! I told Laurie that if I'm ever in their area, I'm taking them both out to dinner!!!! Of course that is after I meet their fur family! lol First things first, heheI will get to meet some of the most special people EVER!!!

Have a GRRRRRRRRRRRRREAT TIME!!!! Yes, we want photos and details.I won't tell Turtle that Carolina is going to meet Lazlo (her sweetheart). I would never hear the end of it.
Sadly, Carolina won't be meeting the babies. We're leaving in a few minutes to head out to our NJ office, and we'll be stopping to see Carolina on our way back home - it's just a few minutes off the highway we have to take home.
Maybe on her next trip to NY/NJ the timing will work out so she'll be able to head out this way (we're out on the PA border, so not close to any place anyone would be traveling to NJ for business. :lol3: ).
Just a few hours away now!

They just left..... and if they are special on the board...... in real life..... they are twice as much, trice as much!!!! What a super treat meeting them!! SUCH a great way to end a great day!!
Thank you SO much Gary and Laurie for coming over to see me...... you guys are just amazing people and I am super fortunate to get to meet you guys!
I did not take many pictures, just from my cell phone, as I was on a hurry to get down to meet them and left my camera here..... But Gary took many pictures..... many many - he has a oh-my-God high tech cell phone, that one :lol3:
We had a lovely dinner, and talked talked and talked
The only thing missing were the kitties - but they were there in stories and in our hearts, that's for sure.
I definitely will be making my way over to their place next time so I can stay a little longer and meet the whole family - but I need to wait for the snow to melt first - my Brazilian bum tends to flash freeze

Gary and Laurie, Thank you so much for coming once again....... I was looking forward to meeting you both for a long time, and this was a huge, HUGE treat!
I already knew how special you are, but meeting you face to face was really, priceless!

LOL, Carolina, you're amazing! If I had to pick one word, it would be VIBRANT!
Gary and I wasted time going around in circles trying to figure out how to GET to the hotel. Tara already posted, but she'd know what I'm talking about. The hotel is in the middle of a number of highways, and we kept taking the wrong "split."
We really had a great time, and SO MUCH to talk about! We really could spend endless hours talking. We managed to cover Brasil, the economy, and politics in addition to cats. :bigthumb:
Carolina is as beautiful as she is nice... although maybe it's more appropriate to say she's as beautiful as she is energetic? :lol3: And she DID let Gary do some talking!
OMG! She gave me THE most thoughtful gift! It's a bead bracelet - with KITTY beads and charms, and beads that spell out Lazlo. :heart3:
Gary was almost in tears when I was showing him the pictures and we were deciding which one to post. :lol3: I'm just grinning from ear-to-ear.
Here's the bracelet:
I know you can't see the kitty beads too well, and the white ones are washed out, but it's really cute. SO THOUGHTFUL! :heart3:
Our pictures aren't so different, and I like the one of the three of us on Carolina's phone better, but here are more:
