So, I decided to try making a cat toy similar to the toy Draco was looking for. I made it a bit too flat- I forgot that it was a bit more rounded, but it came out pretty well. There are a few things I will change to my previous pattern if I make these in the future. I think it would be good to double reinforce the seams. As to how it worked, I am glad to say that this is about the ONLY toy Wessie has ever played with. It's probably the catnip inside, which he recently decided he actually likes.

VERY GOOD!!! I love it. Lucky boy Wessie is, his meowmy can make kitty toys now 
He plays with it everyday. I might make him a few more, perhaps in different styles this time.
