:thud: Ari always makes my heart skip a beat! I agree with Lauren - his tail looks like a waterfall over that bag. :lol3:

I finally got the perfect opportunity to grab a pic of Harvey's tail and measure it... with fur, it's 12.5"! If we count where his actual skin stops, it's 12"... but he's only 6 months old this week! I think he'll give Laz a run for his money... and like I said, he's got awfully big feet to go with it.
 Teehee!

He sure is! :wow: That is QUITE the tail! He's also got those big ears - which I think is more of an indication of how big he'll grow up to be than big feet! :lol3:

Well, I'm afraid Larry doesn't measure up, tail-wise.  When I finally got a chance to measure (he kept playing with the measuring tape), he came out at about 11".  But it's fluffy.... very, very fluffy!!  I'm not telling him aobut his shortcomings.  And, he does have those big feet.

I just saw this thread. I went and measured Memphis' tail, and it is also 13". The hairs on his tail stay very close to the skin so it looks like a Blues Brothers-esque skinny tie. It turns full feather boa when he's riled up, though (unfortunately, he hasn't let me take a picture of that yet).

He's a pretty lanky cat, and his tail is almost as long as him when he is sitting down.

Your Lazlo and my Simba can make up a secret tailshake with their tails. Simba's tail is 12 inches long and he's only half a year old. I don't know how long it will get but he's already 8 pounds. It's bends and curls from side to side when he's interested in something. It's like a lemur's tail! Is Lazlo's that way, too?

Compare that to 7 month old Nala's 9.5 (I think) inch long tail.

Hehe wow at these cat tails!

My 6-month-old Miss Chloe's tail is about 10 inches long, not the longest here, but she's only about 12 inches long from head to butt (when she's not stretching anyway) and 4.5 lbs, so it's pretty oversize by comparison! She likes to chase her tail in circles, and when she catches it she nips/licks the tip. I'd take a picture to show it, but she'd rather play with a mouse toy than sit still right now!

Wow, you should include a photo of your dear Miss Chloe. :3

My Nala used to like to chase her tail, too! I even caught it on video. Did Miss Chloe do this? This from from back in July when she was tiny.

Yes, that's very much like her when she chases her tail on the couch! She also chases it in circles on top of my 12'' x 12'' subwoofer. I've really got to get a video of that :D

Please do take a video of it. It will be a gem in your video collection for many years. It's so funny!

Haha, I had to get in on this one.  You all are funny!  I thought Ozzy had the longest tail ever but your guys win--I couldn't get him to sit perfectly still, but it's right around 12".

Now that is a fine fluffy tail on a fine white cat, what a lovely cat! Can't believe I've not spotted him on the site before!
