Hi from Naku!

Hi! I joined the forums about a week or so ago and just wanted to introduce the new guy to our family. smile.gif We did have our other kitty, Shumba, who we adopted from the local animal shelter, but unfortunately, he was a bully and even after time working with him and our girl, it just didn't work out. We unfortunately had to bring him back, but I know they will take wonderful care of him and he will find a GREAT home (I think he is best as a single kitty).

 

After working with the cat behaviorist and some of the volunteers, we adopted a new guy, his name is Naku. He is about 3 years old and is rambunctious! He was brought in to the shelter covered in feces and had a real bad ear mite infestation (to the point of swollen ears and he was bleeding behind his ears from scratching so bad). So...in the weeks he was at the shelter, he was given a nice bath, treated for all those yucky ear mites, and neutered, and now he is home with us! He is quite the chatterbox too...

Hi and welcome to TCS zwaai.gif. I heart.gif Naku. But I really heart.gifcatbi.gif cats. What does the name Naku mean?

Thanks! It means in Japanese, of course from what we have looked up, to cry or to call (noises made by animals). We decided on that name because he is ALWAYS making some kind of noise. He is quite the chatter box.
