I've been in a creative mood lately and have added 2 new beds to my website with some new fabrics.
The first bed, called a Kennel Bed, is intended for use in a pet carrier, but I have used these all over my house as regular beds. Similar to a box shaped bed, it fits snuggly into a medium or intermediate sized pet carrier (see Petmate carrier sizes). The walls of the box prevent the bed from sliding around the carrier, and it helps to contain anything that might "spill" from your cat during transport. It's made from an eco-friendly cotton, and filled with a premium NuFoam filling for comfort. It holds up to laundering over and over again. I've been using the original carrier bed for 8 years, and when it finally gave out after continuous use (washed after every vet visit), I realized that perhaps others would like them as much as I do. I'm offering 1 size on my website (20" x 12"), but can custom make the size to fit your carrier.
The second bed is actually a Cat Hammock. I purchased one of these years ago and always had issues with its construction. So I came up with a better design, and while I was at it, made ones to hold more than one cat. I'm offering single, double, and 2-tiered versions of my hammocks. The bed of the hammock measures 19" square and is roughly 10" high. It comes in either soft fleece or flannel (backed with denim).
My cats tested the prototypes and gave them 4 paws up. In fact, Lucky Pierre rarely leaves a hammock, and here he is testing out the single. Yes, he just work up from a nap.
The two tiered hammock was on the floor about a minute before 2 cats crawled into that one. Modeling are Spanky and Lucky Pierre (again). They are 18 and 16 pounds respectively, so you can get an idea how big these beds are.
And with everything on my site, if you don't like the color, just ask me to make one in a color more to your liking. I love to make custom items.
