I haven't seen one of these in a while and thought I would start one.

So what is everyone up to today? I wish I could say I took advantage of changing the clocks and got an extra hour of sleep, but I didn't. Today I've got to work on my Thanksgiving menu a bit more. I plan on starting to bake the cookies for Thanksgiving too. I need to put a little more work into getting ready for the craft show I am doing also. I'm trying out a weird crockpot recipe I found. Kielbasa, white beans, onion, garlic, more spices and spinach. You serve with crusty bread. Matter of fact, I really should get that in the crockpot!

Have a great day everyone! :wavey:

Yum!! If you need any crockpot ideas for meals, PM me and I can share. This lady does not cook unless it is in the crockpot.

Our plans for today are having our two kitties meet (we are on day two of supervised meetings), then watch football (GO COWBOYS!), and then the usual boring Sunday stuff... clean and laundry.

Oh -- and the kitties are getting a bath today. That should be LOADS of fun!

Good luck with your kitties bath day. :lol2:

I am in the process of laundry avoidance.....
I figure as long as I am doing things here, I can put off the inevitable.

Your crock pot recipe sounds delicious Karen.
Enjoy your Sunday everyone. :wavey:

Hi Karen :D!! Great idea to start the daily thread again.

I was hoping turning back the clocks would make me feel less rushed this weekend but it has not!! :lol3: I still don't feel there are enough hours in the day. Have a list of to-do's today. Vacuum, change sheets, laundry, clean bathroom, bathe my two JRTs Wilbur and Henry and groom cats. Larry took tomorrow off as he has been travelling a lot and is taking more days off to make up for his absence :heart4:. We are going to watch the Bear's game later at one of our favorite bars.

So..... I better get moving if I plan on getting all of this stuff done today !!!

Happy Sunday to you, friends :hugs::hugs: :cat:

Jake is still in bed

I'm doing my morning routine of coffee and facebook games.

So thankful I do not have to deal with the time change.

This evening we will go to a potluck that a friend does the first Sunday of the month, we're bringing brownies.

Later we will relax, have a beer or three at home and watch movies.

Sunday has always been our day of doing as little as possible

We've had a very busy day celebrating my in-laws' Diamond Anniversary (60th!). There was a mass at 9 a.m., then a sit-down dinner at noon followed by coffee and cake around 3:30 - 5:00 p.m.. I came home every two hours to check on Jamie, since his medications were changed yesterday and we have to see if he remains stable.

Fall break is over - it's back to school tomorrow and will probably be a rough week. A representative from the school board will be sitting in on classes (my turn is at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow), several classes have mid-terms I'll have to mark, and Jamie will probably have a few vet appointments. He has one tomorrow at 5 p.m..

I'm already looking forward to Christmas break!

Today I went to one of my city's annual Christmas craft festival. It was fun and I got a lot of things for Christmas presents. Now it's am afternoon of cleaning and laundry (YUCK) and tonight the BF and I are going out for a Thai food dinner date
Overall, I think it was a good day

As we're having Christmas 2 days after Thanksgiving (we're not doing Thanksgiving, BTW!), I worked on wrapping gag gifts for Dirty Bingo. I make the tackiest, most gawd-awful wrapping for this. I use ads of weird products, and make collages of them on ugly old wrapping paper.  I even took a plastic standing skeleton, that's in a clear dome, and taped wrapped Christmas candy around the base, and dressed him up, and stuck a dollar bill in his pelvis (use your imagination here, folks). He's one of the gag gifts! (He's cheap, from Goodwill.) I spent most of the day doing all of this, and had a blast.

Went to Church today, I read the first lesson, . Then went to a store called BLUE MOON and did shopping for the person I'm the SS for here.
. We skipped lunch so we were going to go to the FUZZY PEACH Yogurt Shop so we went and had early steak dinners at TEXAS ROADHOUSE.

We had to wing it today. Just before we were to go grocery shopping the bathroom sink decided to leak. DH ran out for Milk and came back to do his school work. DS napped through the soldering of the pipe against his crib wall. I put together some bath salts for my Christmas gifts. Now we are relaxing and waiting for bedtime.

It went much better than I thought! My BF actually gave them a bath. Esme howled and Naku protested silently.
