What was the first thing you did when you woke up this morning?

Put on my bathrobe. laughing02.gif then I headed downstairs, fed Abby and then made coffee. That is the normal morning routine. smile.gif

I went out in the kitchen to take my Actonel pill.  It's a once a week deal, and it annoys me that you have to wait half an hour before drinking anything but water, eating, or lying back down.  Bah.  So I do it the first thing, and set the timer and get on the computer, then after half an hour goes by I can have my coffee!!! happy2.gif

Tried looking out the window (too dark to see anything but habit dies hard) and noticed whitecrap on the window ledge. Now that it is getting light out, there seems to be a good bit of it.......blah!!!! Coffee making came next.

I changed diaper on my 2 year old, then made breakfast for my kids and myself, and as my SO was not feeling his best, I made some healing tea for him.

I slept in about 20 minutes later than the BF, so by the time I go up, the kitty was already fed, so I made some hot chocolate and watched last nights SNL with Riley and the BF

I got up and let the dogs outside. That's the normal thing for me every other day (we alternate days getting up with the dogs).

The very first thing I do when I'm the first one up in the morning is feed the kids. First and foremost, feed the kids.

 

Rick usually hits the bathroom before he feeds them, so the whole time he's in the bathroom, there are seven cats milling in the hallway right outside the door, screaming their heads off for breakfast. It is loud and it isn't pretty. They are shocked that he would think about his bladder before giving them their breakfast! Didn't take long for even Tabby to get into the act. It would be funny, if it wasn't 5:00 in the morning.
