Hello! My name is Elizabeth and I've been a cat lover since the day I was born. I currently have six cats, all of which are rescues that came from various situations. Munchkin, my oldest, came from a home involved in a murder suicide. My dad was the first officer on scene and brought her home when the relatives could not keep her. She is dwarf sized and has facial deformities which leads to blindness. She is also deaf and suffers from some mental damages -the vet suggests her mother was kicked while pregnant. Willie is next, we got him four years ago while driving on a back road. He was barely three weeks old struggling to keep warm. Bones is the latest, but next in age. Her owner was a homeless woman that had a heartattack and died. She found her way to my sisters house almost starved. Moses and Willow were dumped this Easter by an elderly man. He threw them into the river with witnesses. They were still nursing but thrived! And last but not least is Nora, dumped at a relativees farm. She was found trying to nurse off of a very patient male cat.
Animals are my life, I've devoted a lot of time and money into saving them. We rehomed about 5 cats per year and bury an average of 2 because our help came too late. No one is turned down, we help them all!
I am looking foward to meeting some fellow animal lovers!

Howdy back, Elizabeth!
How wonderful for you to help out these kitties, especially the ones with special needs.  I will never understand why there are people who are so cruel but luckily there are are angels like you to help rescue them.

Please feel free to click on my user name and send a message if you have any questions about the site.  I'll do my best to answer them for you!

Hi and welcome to TCS
. I hope you enjoy your stay with all of us. Feel free to share photo's of your cats with us. I also agree with Captiva about what a great thing you did rescuing a special needs cat. Having done fostering and rehoming, I always found it VERY hard to find a home for a special needs cat. So thank you for adopting a cat with special needs.
