I browsed a bit around here and the internet but I thought I could get better answers here.

So today I will be getting my kitten and he will be about 6 weeks old. I've got Purina Kitten Dry food and a couple different kinds of Smart Kitten wet canned food.

I know he has been eating dry food (at my cousins house with its mom), but I'm not sure if they've been feeding him any wet food.

So how much wet food and how often should I be feeding him?

I should leave dry food out all day so he can go and nibble on it when he wants, right?

I've read that you shouldn't have opened wet food for more than 24 hours even if its refrigerated, is that true? I've got small cans (of wet food) and I doubt he would be able to finish a can in one day.

Do I have to worry about the other adult cats eating my kittens wet and dry food? The adult cats don't get wet food all that often, so would they eat it?

If my kitten doesn't finish its wet food, can I put it back in the can and next time give him a smaller portion?

Sorry for all the questions, just want to make sure I do everything right :)
