Good morning everyone!

This hasn't been asked for a while so....

Do you smoke?

I don't.  Not usually anyway.  I have a celebratory cigar every now and then, but that's it.

I quit smoking 5 years ago, proudly!  I have been really stressed lately and tempted to  but fighting the urge...... It's such an evil, disgusting habit!

I quit smoking 16 years ago.

I still miss it.....and, do you know, sometimes, at work, if I'm outside in the back of the building at one of picnic tables, I'll sidle (is that the right word?) over to a co-worker when he's smoking, just to take whiff. I'm pathetic, I admit it. I really miss the whole routine....tapping the pack, opening it, lighting the cigarette and taking that first long drag.

But, yes. 16 years.

Trapped in the catroom! ;o)
Freshly quitting. It freaking sucks monkey butts and I am hating life right now. I might be happy about it later but right now I could kill someone I want a smoke that bad especially first thing in the morning with my first cup of coffee.

I have never smoked.  My Mother did for a short time in college; but that was a few years before I was born.  My Grandparent's smoked (a few pipes a week for Grandpa and cigarettes for Gram) but they quit when I was a kid.  I remember really getting on them after an anti-smoking thing we did in first or second grade.  My Grandpa quit then; Gram several years later.    I remember being quite passionate about it!

The thing I don't get; is that every now and then I crave a cigarette.  Even though I've not even been around any regular smokers since I was maybe 12 or so.  Weird!

Nope, no smoking for me.  Tried it once in my Army days because EVERYBODY smoked.  Instantly felt sick and awful.  I've had a nice cigar and been to a few hookah lounges here and there, but definitely no cigs.

I have "lightly" smoked for many years. Meaning, a social smoker. But now that it is banned in bars and restaurants, that has helped us to really cut back. We only have one or two in the evenings. We have tried quitting multiple times and it works for awhile. We can go all week without a cig. But usually like to have one in the evening on the weekends outside. We have never smoked in the house or the car. Only outside. Plan on quitting for good this time at Christmas - a gift to eachother :heart4:

I have never smoked. But my family growing up did. Some of my friends do too. I
the smell of cigarettes. But can not get myself to spend the money required to smoke. So, I live off other people smoking for my fix
. Aka a contact high. I know, I am one weird one
.

Right here! :)
I don't smoke and have never tried it.

None of my family smokes or smoked, except my dad used to have a cigar at Christmas when I was a kid, but one cigar would last him for days and usually he would not manage the whole one over the holidays.
My granddad used to smoke a pipe every now and then when I was a kid (he died when I was 8).

None of my friends have been smokers, except for one, allthough a few did have a smoke when partying, which I did very little of anyway, so it didn't come up often.

I really really hate the smell of smoking, you get so sensitive of the smoke when you hardly ever smell it and I really really hate it when my neighbours go out so smoke, close their windows, so there is no smell in their home, but instead my home fills with the smell!

Not anymore. I did for 4 years and quit in 2005. Though I have had an occasional cigarette here and there while partying or something (which I then regret later when I wake up tasting it!)
