FYI: Getting Multiquotes to Work Fast

TCS 2.0 is a bit different from TCS 1.0. To get the best/fastest result, click the "multiquote" buttons under the posts you want to include in your own post and then click the "quote" button, not either of the reply buttons.

ETA: If you're using Opera, click the "multiquote" buttons, then the "quote" button below the last post you want to quote, then "reply".

Hmm.  That's the way I always did the multiquotes in TCS1.  So was I doing it wrong all this time? headscratch.gif

If I do that, it just gets hung up. I have to hit the multiquote button, the quote button on the last one, then the reply button, or it just sits there forever with the little activity bar. I'm using Opera 11.something

I'm just trying it with Opera, Laurie, and getting the same thing. You have to hit all three. That's probably because Opera isn't fully supported by the Huddler software, IIRC. I'll add that to the first post for people who don't read past that.

Thanks because I was wondering about the multi-quote feature and how to use it correctly. IT WORKED!!! I just clicked on each of the multi-quotes and then clicked on quote and wa-la. I always had problems with multi-quoting on TCS 1, so this is a nice feature for me now bigwink.gif.

I find that the "Quote" button works pretty fast provided you don't click either of the "Reply" buttons, but simply scroll down to the reply box after clicking "Quote".

Just a reminder - we do have an issue with the quote function atm. When you click quote, it sometimes gets stuck with the "waiting" pop-up. Hopefully this will be fixed this week.

That kept happening to me...
the "waiting " pop-up would get stuck.
