"No Posts"

The site might want to consider changing the time allotment on showing of last/most recent post in the forums. When I logged on this morning, this is what it looked like:

252

At the very least, perhaps it should say "no recent posts" ???

Will try and get this fixed soon - thanks for the report!

Was that the Nutrition forum or a different one? If you see this happening again, and hopefully you won't, please take a couple of screenshots - one showing the main page with the "no posts" message and one showing the main page of the "no posts" forum.

That would help figure this out. Thanks!

Anne, I think the issue isn't a forum per se, it's the way they have the last post or most recent post "timing" set. Because this morning it's in the Caring for Strays and Ferals forum:

415

Edited to add: that can't be the problem. Don't know what it is. Here's a screen shot of the forum (which is still saying "no posts" at the forums level view), and the last post was actually at 9:22am (ET):

From the main forums page:

Thanks for the screenshots! I know it's not because of lack of fresh content (the forums aren't set up with any limiting time frame - even the archives are showing the last post).

You want me to keep taking screen shots? I see the "No Posts" in various forums every day. agree.gif It's been in Breeder's, Behavior, Caring for Ferals & Strays, etc. I'll keep posting screen shots if you want them.

I think they've probably got enough at the moment (I contributed one yesterday, too). It's weird how it keeps switching from forum to forum like a ghost.

Thank you, Laurie. I hope we can get this fixed soon enough - Halloween is over with and time for the ghosts to get out of here...

I'm sure you're aware, but there were five forums with "no posts" at the same time today....

I currently have "no post" in nutrition, behavior and new cats

I am thinking it's a case of "since you've checked, there's been no new posts"

Can't be. I also had "No Posts" in Care & Grooming, and I haven't been to Nutrition, Care & Grooming, or New Cats on the Block in ages.

lol, ok my theory has been falsified!

For me it is showing on Behavior, Care and Grooming, and TCS Support - when clicking on them, all have new posts..... obviously a glitch on translation... agree.gif
post #16 of 17

No Posts in Support forum is the only one doing it to me.

This changes depending on some deleted spam posts which you guys, fortunately, are not exposed to. We are aware of the problem and it will be fixed in due time. I am sorry about the disruption.

There is no need for further reports, just lots of patience. Thank you!
