It is 98 degrees here, and the humidity is up to 100%...The A/C doesn't work well either....the kids deal with this better than I do, and it doesn't even seem to affect Rock and Fluff...I just keep lots and lots of water in their bowls.....how hot is it where you're at?

It's only 95 here today so I guess we get a bit of a break! I'm still at work so I haven't been out since 9:00 this morning.

It's only 95 here today, too, and overcast, so it's a nice break from the typical August weather.

Autumn, sweet Fall of cool breezes, falling leaves, air crisp and smelling of cedar, won't you come soon?

Why not take the kids swimming? That will cool you off!

I would take them to swim but the public pools are closed now, and I don't have a pool here.....

It has been hot here also. For the past month it has been at least 90, and most of the time in the triple digits. I am afraid to see my electric bill this coming month(lol) I have had the ac on non stop.

There's no place like home
We hit 101 on Sunday, 104 yesterday and about 102 today. Of course with the heat index its about 10 degrees hotter.

And no rain for the last 9 weeks and no rain in sight for the immediate future. At least it's not that humid here!

My babies and I are enjoying the air conditioning right now.

I think it's in the mid-80's here, but high humidity. Still, very cool for this time of year in Georgia.

It's my turn today to melt. It is 97 degrees here yesterday and today. I am dyyyiiiiing. I can't get any work done in my office, the sun is beating on that side of the house right now, so I am hiding out in the den, websurfing. I just feel useless all-around, as I couldn't sleep last night, even with the fan (no A/C) blowing at me full strength. Not only was it darned hot, Mozart decided that it would be a good night to sleep on us. Only problem was he plopped his rear end in my face, and he had a stinky butt. He did try to apologize by attempting to clean it (near my head) but it didn't help.

I am sooooooooooo hot!

It was 100 degrees here today in Iowa with a heat index of 110!!! And the factory I work in is not air conditioned, and we have machines that are heated as well, so it had to be at least 120 degrees...I just stood there and dripped sweat and prayed for the end of the day.
Thank God I have central air at home!!!!!

Oh my Debby, how do you stand it?? There's no way I could work under those conditions! Guess I'm spoiled. I hope they let you keep water by you so you can drink lots of it.
