my cat is well potty trained, but all day today it looks like he's been constipated he keeps goin to is litter box and tries to poop, i,ve checked the box and there's nothing there, then he starts peeing all over the floor something i've never seen him do, i recently changed his food to an all organic dry food that has a bunch of goodies for him but could that be why he seems constipated?

Get your kitty to the vet immediately! Sounds like he might have a blockage or a urinary tract infection. Neither are good to leave untreated.

:yeah: He really needs to be seen today. What you're describing is very serious, meaning it could be life-threatening.

Let us know what happens - but I agree that at the very least you want to call the vet for advice immediately, and be ready to bring your cat in.  If your vet is not available, please contact an e-vet (I know it's expensive - I've beent there myself with my boy).  Good luck, I know it's scary.

I would definitely say, like everyone else said, to call the vet. Also, from what I have read from other posters and sites, that pumpkin helps with constipation (if that is what is causing the issue).

Let us know what happens with the vet. I hope he feels better!
