Questions and problems

The subscription list no longer shows whether there are new posts or not.  There's just this long list of subscribed threads and apparently random member names.  I can't tell if there is anything new in the thread, nor can I go to the newest post.  I have to click on the thread and start from the beginning.

If you went to preference in your profile, you would click the box for yes. Right under this post there should be preference listed. If you click on that, it will pop up a box that gives you yes and no options.

AS far as the spelling, I was having the same problem and just figured it out. . Chance your text from the rich editor to the BB editor and the FF spelling will work.

before you go into the topic theres a little box before it about 1cm to the left that has a little arrow type shape in it if you click that rather than the thread title it will take you to the last post you read

You just need to click the little box where it says it, I have just done that and its worked, and it is so much better

Chrome is just putting a red line under misspelled words,try highlighting the word and press the abc button it brings up a menu to change the word to the right spelling

There IS no box.

..and the green arrow tells you there is a new post. It looks like you can sort by type and also that people you are friends with show up on your subscription list. I assume you can remove those.

Odd. OK, if you go to the top and click my profile then click the account detail button, you should be able to change it from there. If not, let us know and we can change it for you.

Thanks, that worked!

No green buttons next to my subscribed threads, even when there is a new post (using this thread as the tester..your reply was not indicated in my subscription list) I must be missing something.

I need to leave the house right now or I will be late for an appointment. If someone else doesn't answer by the time I get back, I'll see if I can take a screen shot. Keep in mind though I am not a Huddler expert and am learning just like the rest of you. :lol3:

I believe Tapatalk has a free version for browsing the forums, but you can't post through that. I just went ahead and bought my Tapatalk, but obviously that is a matter of personal choice. For me, it's just worth the $3 and I know I'll be using it for at least one more forum.
I will let everyone know as soon as TCS is actually available on Tapatalk

OMG, it's terribly, terribly slow for me! It's not other sites, just TCS. I don't if it's just a bug or what, but I keep clicking on links and I'm not getting anywhere. It's taking forever just to scroll. (And obviously I don't know how to quote the right person.....I tried to quote sillyitiliangrl and got Anne's post first. Oy.)

What phone are you using? On my iPhone there's a default browser and you can also download other browser apps. The name of the browser is the name of the app, I guess.

I was never able to really use any forum, TCS included, from the iPhone. Or rather, it was so inconvenient, I just let it be and used a proper computer. I'm actually looking forward to having TCS on Tapatalk now

Thanks I'll be watching. Because I just left and came back and there are new posts in this thread, but are not indicated in my subscription list. I had to start from the beginning of the thread.

Also: Is there a way to make the quoted post stand out better from the reply. You can barely tell what is quoted and what is the reply. Causes too much confusion and makes it too difficult to tell what's what.

Thanks to whoever mentioned the BBcode in reference to firefox spell check. I can't find your post again in this thread, but it worked.

Ash, download the free Opera mini app from the Android Marketplace. I'm using it right now, and so far it's working fine.

Ah, it's working now. Up until this moment when I hovered over it, I was told "you do not have permission to perform this function". Now I get "click if this is helpful".

My subscribed list is still not indicating new posts though.

1366 x 768 pixels, which is as high as it goes. I could try lowering it, but now that I've managed to log in I'm afraid to log out again.
