While helping with an event at the local Animal Control, a lady dumped three kittens there - approx 4 wks old. She said they came in from outside and she had been keeping them in her bathtub. Who knows what the truth is.

But the shelter is SO full the only place for them was in a sick room and they were at extremely high risk of catching one of the nasties circulating there.

Sooooo..... under duress/pressure.. I agreed to take them in.
I really don't have a life situation where I can care for needy infants, but...... I didn't want them to get sick, so they are in my master bath at MY house. (I look after my Mom who has dementia/Alzheimers at HER house. I can't bring in cats. She won't have it!)

It has taken a couple of days, but I have gotten all three to warm up to me. The littlest one was the hissiest.... hilarious that something SO small was trying SOOOO hard to be all scary and ferocious!

Here are a few pics of them the first night at my place:

Front to back - white and br tabby girl (Lila), br tabby girl Peanut and Roscoe. (My names for them)
There is nothing wrong with Lila's eyes... just didn't like the flash.

Lila- aka smarty pants was the first for everything - first to want lovins, first to eat the kitten mush, first to the litter pan... you get the idea. Roscoe and Peanut were hissy, but I have brought them around. It also looks like they will be going to a foster who can keep them under the same roof as them! Which I cannot! That's one reason why I have adults - they are more self sufficient than babies. In the future, when my situation is more settled - I would set up an adoption room and take in kittens.
