I had to get a new trash can, this time with a lid, because Boots kept getting into the old one. He would tear the flimsy liners with his little claws, and he knocked it over and strewed trash all over my kitchen floor more than once.

Well, I kept the old can to put newspapers in for recycling. Now I don't mind if he gets into it, which he still loves to do. So I thought I'd share some pics.

Here's the new trash can (red) next to the old one, with Boots in "his" can.

Here's a close up of Boots in his very own can, on top of the newspapers, making noise with the plastic bag, one of his favorite things to do.

And just for fun, here's a picture of him giving a funny look to Kramer. I imagine this is cat language for "What did you just call me???"

Enjoy

What a cutie! He looks a little like my Tex - who was a total spaz for the first year and a half I had him...

Oh!
I hope Boots is half as handsome as Tex when he grows up. The only difference I see is the eye color.

Great pictures! Boots looks something like my Tippytoes --- except that whenever I try to get a good picture of Tippy you can hardly see her eyes.

Oh - my very first cat was named Boots. He was an orange kitty and lived to be 17 years old. Special little guy who we will never forget.
