My fat dog

I had to bring my Virac to the vet for an xray. He saw my neighbor trimming a vine that was growing into the property. So he thought it was an intruder and of course ran towards the wall. On the way he twisted his rear leg. I thought he fractured something.
Well, it turned out to be a sprain but the vet said I should put him on a diet. His weight had a lot to do with the injury.

Poor baby! I hope he feels better soon.

Have you heard about the "green bean diet" for dogs? Let your dog eat canned green beans in place of a percentage of their usual food. You can look it up online. Of course, if your dog eats "people food" that will have to stop as well!

Make sure if you use canned green beens to check the sodium content! You can also use frozen (or raw) green beans or carrots.
