I agree the summer's not so bad - winter sucks!
I love the snow & all - but I don't want to have to drive anywhere in it.

I had to do it this year early because I am going to a family wedding tomorrow up north. We've had so much rain, and doing all the driving, especially coming home late at night, tired, I wanted to have the best tire traction I could get.

So really, it was rain I was concerned about, it didn't occur to me that snow would be an issue.

And guess what the forecast for tomorrow is bright and clear. Cold, but no precipitation of any kind expected. Oh, the irony!

It seems so early for snow! Stay warm out there everyone. They were originally calling for snow here tomorrow, but then the forecast changed. Pheww
I wasn't ready for that yet

They are saying we could get up to 3" here on Saturday. Looking at the hourly forecast; it isn't really supposed to fall before the late afternoon. Just rain before then. Either way I don't want snow. I could cry. Literally.

We have still been harvesting some tomatoes from the garden. I guess this could be the end of it!

I'm just saying No. My middle sons birthday is Sunday, I'm baking (what seems like) 1000 more cupcakes for HIS football game, and there's NO WAY I will agree to any kind of frozen precipitation.

Trapped in the catroom! ;o)
I just checked my weather forecast. Temp 37 degrees with a snow accumulation of 4-6 inches.

What the heck happened to fall?? Did mother nature decide to skip it this year? Did her and fall get into a fight or something cuz Im not happy about this at all.

Rick just told me about the snow. And to make it worse, we never bothered to buy any groceries this week and thought we run to the store tonight. But now, I refuse to go to the store, knowing that everybody and his brother will be in there going crazy. Looks like we'll be eating out of the freezer over the weekend.

I am not amused. I just hate winter.

We have had rain none stop for almost 2 weeks. If it gets much colder here it will all freeze. Ido about snow but I don't want ice.

Im going to the store this morning...normally the worst I hit in the morning is all the crazy old people who dont know proper grocery store etiquette and block aisles or stand in the worst places and talk for hours. Seriously I went to the store one time and these two ladies were in the worst place noone could get by them and they were there from the beginning to the end of my shopping (like an hour)...That drives me bat stuff crazy....

Walmart should be fun tonight with all the crazies out and about freaking out over snow. I bet its barely a dusting because everyone will freak out. LOL

I wish I could go to the store this morning....it would make things so much easier. I did bring the Giant ad with my to work this morning to see if there's anything that will push me to go tonight.

Went out to start Clarence this morning. 31 degrees and he had frost.

Our pepper plants were pretty much done anyway; we tore them out last night. We dug up the cannas and the elephant ears, too, and put the tubers in the basement for the winter.

I could cry.

I could cry with you Pam! The forecast for where I live doesn't look so bad; but we have plans for tomorrow where it looks like it could be worse. Looks like we might have to test some of that good stuff I hear about Subaru's in the winter. DH is a good driver and it probably won't bother him. But me...yeah not happy. I haven't even bought DD a winter coat yet! My Mom was planning to....and she's shopping with her today so maybe they will get it today.

We had light snow here last night in Maine. It then turned over to freezing rain. My car doors where froze shut this morning. We are supposed have snow here also Saturday Night. The grounds not froze so it won't stick around for long. The leaves are still not off all of the trees. I need to rake yet! The gardens aren't cut down. I'm late..And its to darn cold to go outside today ,even with the sun shinning.
I have the window opened wide enough for the cats to go outside in their fenced in area and the furnace keeps having to come on..

I hope they do get the coat....she's going to need it! And good luck with your plans tomorrow.

Rick is a good winter driver and, even though I hate driving in snow, people have told me that I'm good, too. I just don't like to deal with it, esp since my car is so light weight. I just say that Clarence does not understand the concept of stopping.

This snow is supposed to be very heavy and the weatherweenies are already talking about possible power outages, downed trees, and such. Great, just great.

(They say Belize is gorgeous this time of year.

You know where you can go to in order to escape "winter". Guest room is ready and all the cats want someone to cuddle with (except Tippy --- she cuddles with me!).
