I know I haven't been around much lately, but I have been busy. Between my health issues and work, I've not been online as much as I'd like. But, I am still here and have been busy with some of my new pets. So, I thought I'd let you see some of what I've been up to. Meet my leopard geckos!

These photos are not credited to me; they are credited to their breeder (please contact me for that information if interested).

First up, this is Pippa:

Pippa was hatched on 5/17/2011. She is a reverse stripe eclipse.

Next up is Quinn:

Quinn was hatched on 5/22/2011. She is a tremper albino.

And, here is Aubrey:

Aubrey was hatched on 7/21/2011. She is a tremper albino (het diablo blanco).

All three girls arrived yesterday. They were shipped from a fabulous breeder in Illinois. And, I am in love! I was so lucky to come across their breeder. And, it's been a wonderful experience picking out my geckos and having them come to me from states away. I was wary about purchasing online and then having them shipped, but the breeder I worked with alleviated all of my fears. Things couldn't be better and I am looking forward to getting to know my three girls better in the coming days. It's a very exciting time and I am so happy to share it with all of you here.

Speaking of exciting, I also have two little baby leopard geckos. They're only about 5 weeks old or so. They weren't in the best shape when I got them (and you'll see that in one of their photos), but they're doing well now. In fact, they're doing so excellent that I can't even believe it! Meet my babies (unsexed as of yet)!

This is Tatum (thought to be a hypo; maybe super hypo baldy):

Yes, Tatum was dehydrated when I took this photo. But, the baby is doing much better now and is eating, drinking, and just looking awesome!

And, lastly, this is Remmy:

Remmy is thought to be an aberrant stripe. A funky looking gecko, for sure. I'm excited to see how this one grows up!

So, those are all of my leopard geckos. But, I'm finding that they're much like cats...you can't have just one! I've also found that my leopard geckos are each individuals and I am loving learning about their personalities. I will continue to share photos of them as they grow and mature. They're awesome little creatures and I am very thankful to have them in my life. Sorry for going on and on about them, but I hope you enjoy seeing their photos as much as I've enjoyed having them be the newest additions to my family!

(Sorry about the size of the photos. I'm not sure why they're slightly blowing the margins, but it won't let me fix it through Photobucket.)

I think remmy is my favorite
.

I know what you mean, they are addictive! I have 2, and I've started thinking that little albino at the petstore might wanna come home with me. I have a hypo tangerine and a super hypo tangerine. I need to get new photos of them.

I think you might be a member on the site I go to regarding leopard geckos and their care
. Your user name does seem kind of familiar.

Remmy is a cutie, right?! That little booger has been trouble since coming home, but it's been worth it. At first, it wouldn't eat. I had to rehydrate both Remmy and Tatum as they came to me quite dehydrated, but Tatum was quick to eat. I think it just took a day or two before the little guy was chowing down on mealworms. But, Remmy held out for almost 10 days before eating. I had taken them to the vet and they said to just continue offering food, but Remmy wanted nothing to do with it. Remmy had zero prey drive. Finally, one day, I just tossed a mealworm in and it landed right on Remmy's head. The gecko got mad and went to bite the worm -- and, then, the rest is history. I guess the little one just needed a hit upside the head to realize how yummy mealies could be (gag
). Since then, they've both been doing really well. And, Tatum is even in shed today. So, things are looking up. It's crazy how attached you can get to these little guys. I love mine and, yes, I'm already planning which morph(s) I'd like next (snow, emerine, blizzard...yup, the list is long
). They certainly are addictive!

I think the little albino at the pet store wants to come home with you as well. What type of albino is he/she? Tremper, bell, or rainwater? You'll definitely have to update us with photos and let us know if you decide to bring the albino baby home. And, in the meantime, maybe I'll see you around on the other site as well as this one. Oh, and thanks for the comments on my little ones!

I'm on geckos unlimited and geckoforums.net. I don't know what sort of albino it is, i'm bad with morphs. Clementine shed the day I got her, so she had a nice healthy appetite from the start. She had never seen a dubia roach in her life but gobbled them right up. Echo is older, she was super tiny when I got her, i think just a few days old. She has done awesome though, she's huge now

I have a colony of dubias, and one of mealworms, and a whole bunch of baby lateralis roaches. It'd be a shame to have all these buggies and only 2 geckos (and two fire bellied toads and 6 tree frogs). There's a blizzard in the tank with the albino, but i don't really like the blizzards.
