No idea ha ha but how very cute and how lucky for him to have found you, bless you for giving this kitty a home xx

I can't guess as well but he's a little beauty!

He looks like a domestic short hair brown mackerel tabby :-).

Judging from the size of your floor tiles (not sure how many inches they are on each side LOL), I would guess his age at about six months?

He is absolutely gorgeous and he looks like he has a lot of personality!

If he is not neutered, take him on into the vet ;-) and he can be a permanent indoor kitty after that.

Aw, how wonderful of you! Since he's so tame, I would definitely take him to the vet for a check-up (make sure you're not bringing any parasites into your home), and ask them to scan for a microchip. I would also potentially post on craigslist, and put some posters up around the neighborhood, just in case someone's looking for him. And if it turns out he's already been neutered, you can be almost positive someone's looking for him. It can be VERY hard to find their homes, and reuniting kitties with their families is rare. But I'd want to make sure someone's not missing him.

But what a handsome guy!

We just set up and appointment with a Vet to get him checked up and I posted an ad on craigslist with his picture. He has not been neutered, which is why we were inclined to thinking he was a stray but will have to see with the vet if he has a microchip. Thank you all for replying! If everything goes well, we will be registering him and making sure he lives a long, happy, and healthy life with our family
