I am so excited!!!

He went to the vet today and she did a check up and de-worming. He looks great! She gave me a tip to go ahead and move him to the big cage (the double "rabbit cage" I raised Percy and Juno when they first came home). I made one side with milk in a dish and litter in a pan. The other side has his bed and toys. He is in 7th heaven in there!!
The first thing he did was explore his litter, dig, and go pee pee! He sniffed his milk and walked away...but I bet it won't be long before he is eating just fine. I am so proud of my little one!

ETA: I went to take some pics of him in there and he was CLIMBING to the top of his little sisal post!!! LOL He is so stinkin cute!

Oh yes...learned my lesson with Ms. Juno on that one! She was quite the kicker! I had to buy her a rubbermaid container to use as a litter box when she was little and in the cage. Now she uses the hooded ones like all my other indoor cats.

I know! If he wasn't going to my mom, I would just be devastated to let him be adopted. It is hard enough as it is! I am going to miss him, but I know that for me and my life right now (children, homeschooling, soccer, boy scouts, house cleaning, Blue getting older and having health issues, my dog with his health issues, etc.), I just can't have 7 cats. He will have a better life with my mom - she will love him so much and he will get all of that one on one attention with her that I couldn't give him here. I know it is the right thing, but I am going to miss the little fella soooooo much.

He is such a cutie! I love seeing his updates. The good thing is you will still be able to see him if he goes with your mom.

OMG
HE IS so STINKIN adorable
. I am really glad you will still see him as he is staying in the family, otherwise, I don't know how you would be able to give the cute little stinker up
. What a good tiny boy, using the litter box now
