Winter quarters for Mayce the cat - need advise.

Thread Starter
I desperately need someone's advice. Macy the cat is very old, I do not know how old because she was a rescue. She is an outside cat now and wants to come inside which is not possible. So, I need to do something for her this winter in order to make her comfortable and warm up. Is there such a thing as an igloo for a cat?

And, if so, how would I convince Macy the cat to go in her new home at night? Our home has a very large covered deck. An igloo on that deck would provide her plenty of coverage and warmth.

I am very new to this website and have no clue as to what type of response on may get. But, I am desperately hoping that there are cat lovers out there who will respond to my request with some very good ideas.

Welcome to our community Tom,
I live in a warm climate so am not sure what you should do to help Macy.
Although she is not a stray, if you start a thread about her in our Caring for Strays and Ferals forum, it might draw the attention of members who might have possible solutions for you.

I also have a old stray or feral that can not come in the house and my heart just breaks. I have a cat igloo out side with a heating pad. He does go in it when it is very cold out side. I have it for a year now. Got it at amazon.com well worth. The money. But my cat bell does like his out side bed. I also bought a microwave disc That I put in his out side bed. . I hope this helps you.

Hi, and welcome! If you look on the Caring for Strays and Ferals sibforum, there are a number of threads regarding what people are doing for shelters for their outdoor cats. I hope you can figure out a winter shelter for Mayce.
