Woke up today like any other! but my mobile rang at 7.25am which is unusual I didn't get to it in time, but realised that the call was local. The message was from a man who started by saying "hello Debbie, my name is Murray - we don't know each other but I have found Melvin and he is unfortuately deceased!

Melv was only 1 year old - he had been in my bed until at least 4am but he goes out around that time - he doesn't use the litter at all.

He was bleeding from the mouth and stiff when I picked him up at 7.45am

am so shattered, completely devestated, he was my best friend!

Grief never ends, but it passes,
It's a passage, not a place to stay.
The sense of loss must give way,
If we are to value the life that was lived.
Grief is not a sign of weakness.
It's the price of love.

I'm so sorry for your loss.
