Hi there, I'm new to these forums and brand new to cat ownership. So I'll probably have tonnes of questions.

I just adopted Omar my new cat this past weekend at the Humane Society. Omar is about three yrs old, and was a stray. So far he's getting along really well.

Well, I just thought that we should introduce ourselves.

Welcome to the site! You've just brought something into your home that will probably change your life forever, and all for good! It's really wonderful that you adopted Omar, and adopted an older cat especially. The older ones (not romping kittens) are very often very hard to place. He will love you like no other, and he knows that you saved his life.

Anyway, enough of my sentiment. You've definitely come to the right place for getting questions answered about Omar. We have lots and lots of knowledgable people around here.
