I know I haven't posted in awhile (I do read) and I don't really deserve to be posting. But my 17 year old Peaches (approximate age), is dying of old age. I've been watching her fade away the last 4 days and the time is near. She ate up until Friday or Saturday morning and would drink water up until Sunday morning. But now she is just stiff and lays at my feet, but she is still breathing. She hasn't moved all day. I can't even get her to open her eyes really. If she is still with me tomorrow, I am taking her in at 3:00 PM to be pts. But I hope she goes naturally before then. I am just beside myself right now. But will post more later.

I am very sorry to hear this sad news. I hope if you must say good bye that she goes peacefully. I just hate having to say good bye.

We all know what you are experiencing and can feel for you. My first cat - Boots - was also 17 when he went to Rainbow Bridge. It's so hard to lose them, but we have the memories of giving our babies a wonderful life. Thoughts are with you at this time.

We just put our 19 year old cat down not even a month ago. I know how you feel at this moment and I am so very sorry. Spend this time with her to tell her how much you love her. Lots of hugs and kisses. Again, I am terribly sorry.

I'm so sorry. I've been through this 5 times in the past 6 years, so I understand your pain.

For sweet Peaches tonight. It is so very sad no matter how old they get, to have to say goodbye. You both are in my prayers.

Oh Tammie, I am so very sorry
. Know that Peaches lead a long and very happy life filled with love, and I'm sure she doesn't regret a thing and is grateful for the love and friendship she had with you. Many and prayers for an easy and peaceful passing to Rainbow Bridge.

Tammie it matters none to us how often you post - we have all been there at least once in our lives, we know the emotions & heartbreak. And we are here for you.
