Poor Flambe!

Last Christmas, Carolina, my Secret Santa, gave us a toy she said her cats were obsessed with. It's a little fuzzy mouse on the end of a wire attached to a wand. Sure enough, it has been Flambe's obsession, too. He begs us to get it down and play with him, he chases it frantically, and when he catches it, he will play tug-of-war with it. If we let go, he will drag it to the other end of the living area.

The little mouse lost his tail, then most of his fuzz, and then last week the wire broke where it enters the wand. I looked at it, decided it was dead, and threw it away, planning on getting another one.

We bought the new one today and, of course, Flambe loves it. But he keeps getting ambushed and the foster kittens take the little mousie away from him!

Awww, poor guy!

We're having Da Bird issues between Mollipop and Tabby. It's difficult for Molli to play because Tabby will charge right in and take Da Bird over. She'll chomp on Da Bird and walk away with it in her mouth, growling the whole time. Molli won't try to butt in....she'll sit and watch.

So we bought two Da Birds and sometimes Rick will play with one of the girls in the kitchen while I'm playing with the other one in the living room. It's the only way they can both play and one won't feel left out.

Poor baby!! He's got to teach those kids to share!

I have that exact same wand toy. I can't think of the exact name, but Petco sells it. My cats go nuts for it too

Mine never really got into wand toys if we were trying to play with them but if we let them play alone they love them. Now a laser light..thats hilarious especially if we let the dot on the floor and someone 'catches' it..The other hooligans get mad because the light got caught. Speaking of the laser light...I need batteries for it. LOL DF spent about 3 hours playing with all 5 cats with it and not only wore them out but killed the laser light.
