I am absolutely crying tears of joy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I logged on to TCS as always, hoping there would be news... AND THERE WAS! I have to just post this as I received it (THANK YOU! Cheryl, you have a wonderful, wonderful friend!!!!)

I managed to get Turtle in to see her yesterday. She's such a wild little cat I didn't know what would happen. She curled up on Cheryl's chest and started to lick her chin!! I thought I was watching God at work.

The nurses had all agreed to "turn their heads" so I could sneak Turtle in to Cheryl's room.

Ten, this morning, I thought I'd drop in before going to church. was getting ready to leave when I heard her first words in weeks, "Where's my Turtle-Dove?"

Well, she says she remembers nothing about her time in a coma, but she says she could feel Turtle's presence around her. Her muscles are a little stiff and her voice is a little weak, but she seems fine. I just want to get her home.

I'm sure she'll soon be able to get back on the forum soon. Please thank everyone for their prayers and thoughts.

OMG OMG I am crying happy and joyful tears too reading this!!! TURTLE DOVE is a miracle worker . I am SOOOOO relieved that Cheryl is awake and not surprised her first words were "Turtle Dove....."

oh my goodness...I just read the original thread since I've only been on intermittently for the past week....I'm so glad Cheryl's awake and that Turtle was able to reach her.

My heart stopped when I saw the other thread was locked, but then I burst into tears of joy and relief when I followed the link to this.

Thank God, thank you God for prayers answered. I can't stop weeping for joy.

WOW! That's awesome! I'm so very, very glad.

And Turtle is a little miracle worker (though I'm not surprised at the psychic power of a cat). She should be on one of those shows like "An Animal Saved My Life" or something.

Well, hey, who would you prefer to wake up to--some random nurse ready to poke at you with something-or-other, or a warm fuzzy cat?

This proves it yet again--cats are very therapeutic! I wonder if Turtle Dove is even-tempered enough to become a therapy cat? She seems to have a knack for it.

I'm just so happy for Cheryl, and for her little Turtle-Dove. Now, it's for Cheryl to recover quickly, and be back at home with her little love.

Cheryl, I'm sorry, but I just have to share this with everyone!

I just got a note from Cheryl herself.

Of course she'll post when she can, but she is so very grateful to everyone for their kind thoughts, vibes and prayers!

And she completely cracked me up when she wrote,

Wow! I mean...just, WOW! This is truly incredible! How wonderful that her friend thought to bring Turtle Dove in to wake her up, and even better that it worked! This should go into the medical journals, for certain
