Hello TheCatSite.com! :-)

My name is Kasper Nymand, and I'm currently 17 years old.
I'm living in Roskilde, Denmark (in Europe), where I've lived my whole life.
Currently, I'm a Student at the Roskilde Business College.

At home, we've had many animals / pets, inclusive Chinchillas, fish, and dogs.
Currently, we have the best black female dog (Labrador Retriever), that you could ever imagine.

I've not had any cats yet, but I know many people who have cats.
I'm considering whether I should get a cat in the future, but I haven't made the decision yet.

I'm especially considering a Abyssinian cat, but I'm still open to other breeds of cats.

I do also really enjoy to watch livestreams of animals and/or pets on the internet, both cats, birds, dogs, fish, etc.

That was a little introduction about myself.

Bless You, and have a continued nice day! :-)

Like most Americans, my family came from Europe, and in fact, from Denmark in about 1890.

The cat can be an ideal pet for someone living in a fairly small place, since they don't have to be walked outdoors, like a dog.

I hope you learn a lot about cats here.

Hi and welcome to TCS
. I am sure if you ask any of us if you should get a cat, most would say yes
. But seriously, just "hang around " and you will get the feel for what it is like to own a cat
. I will say domestic cat care is easier then caring for a dog, in my humble opinion.

Thank you both for welcoming me in here!

I've already learned many things from here, and other websites.
I really get the feeling, that you all loves your cats just as much as other human-beings.

One of the reasons, why I may want a cat is, that I've always had some kind of animals / pets, and therefore when I move from my parents' house, I would like still to have a pet.

And, therefore I think a cat would be one of the best choices, because you don't have to be there all the time, and walk them outdoors like you should with a dog.

It's also an easier family member to handle, if you would like to live in an apartment in the city.

Please let me know, if you diasagree with some of these points!
